Privacy Policy

Scorable (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile app that helps you generate conversation
starters and reply suggestions, including from text you type and (optionally) images you provide.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are

What we collect
- Account & contact info (optional): your email if you sign up, join a tester list, or contact support.
- App content you provide: text you type, topics you select, and (if you use the feature) images/screenshots you upload to get suggestions.
- Usage & diagnostics: device model, OS version, app version, language/region, crash logs, and basic analytics (e.g., which screens are used) to improve performance and quality.
- Log information: IP address and timestamps when interacting with our servers (for abuse prevention and troubleshooting).
How we use data
- To generate conversation suggestions and other app features you request.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app, including debugging and crash analysis.
- To communicate service notices, beta updates, and respond to support.
- To enforce our terms and protect against misuse or abuse.
AI processing
When you request suggestions, we may transmit your input (and, if used, images) to AI
service providers to generate responses. We apply reasonable technical and organizational
measures to protect these transfers. We do not sell your data.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Performance of a contract (providing the app’s core functionality).
- Legitimate interests (app security, fraud prevention, quality, analytics).
- Consent where required (e.g., optional features or communications).
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the app (e.g., cloud hosting,
analytics, crash reporting, AI inference). They process data on our behalf under agreements
requiring confidentiality and appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if
required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data retention
- App inputs/outputs: retained only as long as needed to provide the feature,
improve quality, and meet legal/anti-abuse obligations. We aim to minimize retention and
avoid storing sensitive content beyond what’s necessary.
- Diagnostics & logs: typically retained for up to 13 months unless a longer
period is needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.
- We may keep limited backups for disaster recovery for a short period.
Your choices & rights
- Access/Deletion: You can request a copy of your data or deletion by emailing
support@scorable.app. If you’re a tester via Google Play or a Google Group,
we may verify via that account.
- Opt-out of emails: Use unsubscribe links or contact us.
- EEA/UK: You may have rights to object/restrict processing and to data portability.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Children
Scorable is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information,
contact us to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls,
and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required,
we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Third-party services (examples)
- Cloud hosting, database, and storage (e.g., Firebase/Firestore/Cloud Storage).
- Analytics and crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics).
- AI model providers used to generate suggestions.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above
and, where required, notify you in the app or by email.
